BREAKTHROUGH in Weight Loss Management
In a recently conducted controlled study which will be published in the medical journal Nutrition this month, humans taking a natural compound, IGOB131, lost 28 pounds over a 10-week period compared to less than 3 pounds in the placebo (no medication) group.Unlike other weight loss studies that mandate at least some moderation in food intake, these study participants did NOT alter their diet in any way.
In addition to body fat loss, these study participants also had a significant decrease in other blood markers such as cholesterol (decrease in LDL), blood sugar, and C Reactive Protein ( measure of inflammation). All of the study participants had Metabolic Syndrome- which means they had abdominal obesity, high LDL (bad) cholesterol, low HDL (good) cholesterol, borderline or high blood sugar/high insulin (fat storing hormone) levels. This historic study demonstrated more weight loss in a shorter period of time than any other compound ever tested. Participants took one capsule prior to lunch and one capsule prior to dinner for ten weeks. Participants in the study had significant improvements in body composition and reductions in blood measurements of cardiovascular and diabetes risk. Again, NO changes were made to their diets.
Your first impression may be that this sounds too good to be true. I have spent the last two weeks reviewing the medical literature and the results of this soon to be published landmark clinical trial in great detail in order to bring this information to my patients and help them achieve their weight loss and healthy aging goals. This is an exciting time in Age Management Medicine and in Weight Management Medicine.
This novel approach to weight loss and healthy aging will be available to my patients who are candidates for this approach- this month. Weight Loss using this novel agent, IGOB131,should be undertaken while under the supervision of a physician. This approach requires close supervison and monitoring since it may eliminate the need for certain medications and supplements that the patient may be taking to lower cholesterol or blood sugar.
OBESITY IS CAUSED BY:
*Imbalance between energy (food) in and energy (exercise) out
*Hormone imbalance-Leptin Resistance/Low Adiponectin
*Genetic factors
*Multiple physiological and molecular mechanisms influencing body fat regulation
IGOB131 has been shown to work via several different pathways to promote effective fat loss by such mechanisms as:
*Inhibiting α-amylase activity which reduces the absorption of sugar when you eat
*Reducing glucose (sugar) levels and fat storing caused by the hormone-insulin
*Reducing fat (triglycerides) in fat cells and blocking the glucose-3-phophate dehydrogenase enzyme ( which inhibits the conversion of glycerol into triglycerides)
*Reducing C Reactive Protein (CRP)-which is a measure of inflammation in the body and which binds to the hormone Leptin- thereby reducing leptin resistance
*Lowering Leptin levels in the blood
*Increasing Adiponectin levels-another hormone that is crucial to fat loss
*Reducing PPARgamma expression, which has been implicated in insulin resistance and the pathology of numerous diseases including obesity, diabetes, atherosclerosis and cancer
